These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the DisplayBuddy application ("App"), a display manager for macOS and Windows developed by DisplayBuddy ("we", "us", or "our"). By using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

1. Description of the App

DisplayBuddy allows users to control real display settings such as brightness, contrast, input source, rotation, resolution, and more via DDC protocols. The App is available for macOS and Windows platforms.

2. Licensing and Usage

DisplayBuddy is offered as a one-time purchase with a lifetime license. This license grants you the right to use the App, but it does not guarantee indefinite compatibility or continued updates. Licenses are intended for personal use unless otherwise agreed. Commercial or enterprise use is permitted only if you purchase five (5) or more licenses as part of a volume purchase agreement.

3. Refund Policy

We offer refunds within seven (7) days of purchase if the macOS version of the app does not work for you. DisplayBuddy for Windows does not offer refunds as there is a free trial included. To request a refund, please contact [email protected].

4. Restrictions

By using the App, you agree not to:

• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App.
• Use the App for unlawful, harmful, or fraudulent purposes.
• Sell, sublicense, or distribute the App without written permission.
• Modify or create derivative works of the App.

5. No Warranty

The App is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the App will be error-free, reliable, or compatible with all systems or devices.

6. Limitation of Liability

Under no circumstances shall DisplayBuddy or its developers be liable for any damages or losses arising out of the use or inability to use the App, including but not limited to data loss, display malfunction, or hardware damage. You use the App at your own risk.

7. Updates and Discontinuation

We may update the App from time to time, but we are not obligated to provide updates or maintain ongoing support. We reserve the right to discontinue the App at any time.

8. Privacy

Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy. By using the App, you consent to our handling of data as described therein.

9. Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in India.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Your continued use of the App after changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
